Mr. Allan Davies

Mr. Davies has over 40 years’ experience in the Australian and international coal and metalliferous mining industries, and has worked in operational roles up to executive director.

From 2000 – 2006, Mr. Davies also worked for Patrick Corporation Limited as Director – Operations. This position included responsibility for Patrick’s interest in Pacific National, Patrick Shipping, Patrick General Stevedoring and Patrick Autocare.

Mr. Davies was a Director of Pacific National from 2001, when it was acquired by Toll and Patrick, until 2006. Mr. Davies was also a Director of Queensland Rail and the former QR National (predecessor to Aurizon) from 1 October 2008 – 2011.

Mr. Davies became a Director of Qube in 2011 and, with the resignation of Mr. Corrigan, was appointed as Chairman in 2017.

Mr. Sam Kaplan

Mr. Kaplan is Managing Director of Kaplan Funds Management Pty Limited and one of Qube’s founders. He served as investment manager from Qube’s establishment in 2006 until its restructure in 2011.

Mr. Kaplan is also a founder of Patrick Corporation Limited and was involved in that company’s strategic planning. During his tenure at Patrick, he was involved with a number of acquisitions, including Pacific National and the former Virgin Blue, now Virgin Australia.

Mr. Kaplan is a Director and Member of the Investment Committee of Maritime Super, and a Member of the NAB Private Wealth Investment Council.

He was appointed as a Director of Qube in 2011.

Mr. Maurice James

Mr. James has over 30 years’ experience in the engineering, ports and logistics industries.

He spent his early career at the Port of Melbourne Corporation, initially as an engineer, then working through various roles to become head of commercial operations.

Mr. James was an integral part of Patrick Corporation Limited’s executive team from 1994 –2006. His last position at Patrick was Executive Director – Ports, which included responsibility for Patrick’s container terminals and port logistics businesses.

Mr. James has held various roles at Qube-related companies since 2007. He became a Director of Qube in 2011 and, upon the Company’s corporatisation later the same year, was appointed Managing Director.

Mr. James is a Director of the Australian Logistics Council and sits on the WA Freight Advisory Council and Victorian Rail Freight Working Group. In March 2017, Mr. James was appointed Chair of the Industry Advisory Board of Deakin University’s Centre for Supply Chain and Logistics.

Mr. Ross Burney

Mr. Burney is Chief Executive of Hume Partners. He has over 30 years’ experience as an accountant and investment manager previously with BDO Chartered Accountants, Brierley Investments Limited, Guinness Peat Group and Taverners Group.

Mr. Burney was Director of Oncard International Limited from 2010–2015 and Ruralco Holdings Limited from 2014 – 2016.

He was appointed as a Director of Qube in 2011.

Mr. Miles is Managing Director of “K” Line (Australia) Pty Limited. He has more than 35 years’ experience in the Australian shipping industry, including management roles with Bulk, Liner and PCC Shipping.

Mr. Miles is also Chairman of Prixcar Services Pty Limited, a Director of Kawasaki Australia and other Kawasaki-affiliated companies in Australia, and a Member of the Policy Council of Shipping Australia.

He was appointed as a Director of Qube in 2011.

Mr. Stephen Mann

Mr Mann has a Master of Business Administration with Distinction from INSEAD (Institut Européen d’Administration des Affaires).

Ms. Jackie McArthur

Ms McArthur has more than 20 years’ experience at executive and board level roles in general management and strategy, supply chain and logistics, operations, food and packaging manufacturing, emerging brand issues and crisis management, corporate social responsibility, governance, engineering and information technology.

Ms McArthur has held various senior executive positions including Managing Director of Martin-Brower ANZ, a global leading distributor and supply chain services provider. She has also held various senior executive positions with McDonalds, both in Australia and overseas, including Vice President of Supply Chain for Asia, Pacific, Middle East and Africa.

Ms McArthur is a Non-Executive Director of Inghams (as well as Chair of the Risk and Sustainability Committee), Tassal and Invocare as well as former Non-Executive Director of the Blackmores Group and a member of the AICD.

Ms McArthur was the 2016 Telstra NSW Business Woman of the Year and overall 2016 Telstra Business Women’s Awards – Corporate and Private National Winner.

Ms McArthur was appointed as a Director of Qube on 17 August 2020.

Ms. Nicole Hollows

Ms Hollows has over 20 years’ experience in the resources sector in a number of senior managerial roles across both the public and private sectors, including in mining, utilities and rail.

Ms Hollows is currently an independent non-executive Chairman of Jameson Resources Limited and also an independent non-executive director of Downer EDI Limited. She was formerly the Chief Financial Officer and subsequently Chief Executive Officer of Macarthur Coal Limited, Managing Director of AMCI Australia and South East Asia and more recently Chief Executive Officer of Sunwater Limited.

Ms Hollows holds a Bachelor of Business – Accounting, a Graduate Diploma in Advanced Accounting (Distinction) from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and she is a Graduate of Harvard Business School’s Program for Management Development.

She is the Chair of the Salvation Army Brisbane Red Shield Appeal Committee, an advisory committee member of the Salvation Army Queensland Advisory Council and a member of the CEO Strategy Advisory Committee to Executive Dean QUT Business School and Chief Executive Women Membership Committee. Ms Hollows is also a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Mr. Paul Digney

Mr. Digney has 30 years’ executive management experience in supply chain and port logistics roles across Australia.

During the 1990s, he established Liberty Cargo Systems and provided port logistics and international freight forwarding services. Patrick Corporation Limited acquired the company in 1999 and it became the platform for the Patrick Port Services Division. As General Manager, Mr. Digney rapidly expanded the new division through growth and acquisitions.

In 2007, together with other former Patrick executives, Mr. Digney led an investment consortium to acquire management control and ownership of the former P&O Trans Australia, now Qube Logistics.

His experience developing supply chain solutions for major projects, partners and clients led to Mr. Digney’s appointment to Chief Operating Officer in 2016.

Mr. Paul Lewis

Mr. Lewis has been involved with Qube since its establishment in 2006. He is currently Qube’s Chief Financial Officer and Head of Investor Relations.

Since joining Qube, Mr. Lewis has been extensively involved in Qube’s initial public offering, led multiple merger and acquisition transactions, managed debt and equity structuring and raisings, and also managed a number of corporate restructures. He is also responsible for the broader finance function including treasury activities, as well as all of Qube’s investor relations activities.

Prior to joining Qube, Mr. Lewis worked at Patrick Corporation Limited where he was responsible for commercial analysis for major investments, new acquisitions and was also an Alternate Director for the former Virgin Blue, now Virgin Australia. Prior to joining Patrick, Mr. Lewis worked for several other ASX listed companies including ecorp Limited and Macquarie Bank where he was extensively involved in a range of project finance transactions, investments, joint ventures and acquisitions.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales.

Mr. Paul White

Mr. White has over 30 years’ experience in corporate affairs, issues management and journalism.

His expertise extends across the logistics, mining and financial sectors and he has advised the boards and senior executives of several ASX Top 50 companies on external affairs, reputation management and corporate relations.

Mr. White was an integral part of Patrick Corporation Limited’s advisory team from 1997–2006. He worked closely with the Board and Managing Director from the period of waterfront reform through to the takeover of Patrick in 2006.

He was appointed Director – Corporate Affairs when the company listed on the ASX in 2011. He is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Mr. William Hara

Mr. Michael Sousa

Mr. John Digney

Ms. Belinda Flynn

Ms. Flynn has over 20 years of health, safety and sustainability experience in the rail, construction and logistics sectors.

She is an experienced manager with an extensive knowledge of rail, logistics and port operations, skills she developed in senior roles at United Group, Rail Corp and Pacific National.

Upon joining Qube in 2007, Ms. Flynn took responsibility for developing and maintaining Qube’s Health, Safety and Sustainability governance framework and programmes.

She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from the Australian Catholic University and a Graduate Diploma in Safety Science from the University of New South Wales.

Mr. David Knight

Mr. Knight has been involved with Qube since its inception and has been instrumental in many of the company’s acquisition negotiations. He played a significant role in the original acquisition of the P&O businesses that form the base of Qube, as well as Moorebank Logistics Park and many of the company’s smaller subsequent acquisitions.

Before joining Qube, Mr. Knight led Patrick Corporation Limited’s Air and Rail groups and was Director of the former Virgin Blue, now Virgin Australia.

Mr. Michael Yiend

Mr. Yiend has 21 years’ experience in commercial / industrial development and civil construction in Australia and the United Kingdom.

Prior to joining Qube he held senior development roles with Stockland and Australand, where he delivered numerous award-winning projects including the Australian Optus Headquarters at Macquarie Park, the largest corporate campus development in Australia.

As the head of Qube’s Property Development Division, Mr. Yiend is responsible for all property development across the group including Moorebank Logistics Park, the largest intermodal development in Australia.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil and Environmental) and a Master in Engineering Management from the University of Technology Sydney and is a Member of the Institute of Engineers Australia.
