The Way We Work.

In all our locations of work we are committed to operating ethically.

We bring our values of Integrity, Reliability and Inclusion to life through our ethical conduct compliance framework. Our ethical conduct compliance framework sets the standards for our people to conduct their business legally, responsibly and ethically and requires our suppliers and customers to do so as well.

We require all people who work for and with Qube to do so with integrity, doing what is right and what we say we will do.

Statement of Values.

Qube has an over-arching Statement of Values that sets out Qube’s purpose and vision and the guiding principles and Qube culture that are fundamental to realising that purpose and vision.

Integrity and reliability are critical to our ability to work as a team and for our stakeholders to be able to trust and rely on us.

Our Culture involves preserving an entrepreneurial spirit within a strong ethical framework to engender both a ‘can-do’ attitude and a socially responsible approach in all of our business activities.

Our Code.

Our Code of Conduct and Ethics (Code) sets standards for the way we work at Qube.  It also provides a practical set of guiding principles to help our team members resolve issues and make decisions in their day to day work, whatever they do and wherever they do it. The Code operates together with other policies and procedures as part of a unified ethical conduct compliance framework.

We aim to always be a good corporate citizen for all of our stakeholders including our employees, customers, suppliers and the communities in which we work. As such Qube places great importance on honesty, integrity, quality and trust.

Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption Compliance.

We are committed to upholding ethical business practices and meeting all legal requirements.  We do not engage in bribery or corruption in any form and this conduct is not tolerated at Qube.

Our Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption (ABAC) Policy sets out Qube’s requirements as they apply to both to employees and to contractors and anyone working for or on behalf of Qube. It explains how to identify bribery and corruption, provides guidance on giving and receiving gifts, hospitality and making donations, and outlines how to report instances of bribery and corruption.

Sanctions & Trade Controls.

We place great importance on trading responsibly. Through identifying, mitigating and managing risk, we are committed to complying with economic and trade sanctions laws in all countries in which we operate. Our Sanctions Policy applies to our employees as well as to agents, contractors and anyone representing or working on behalf of Qube.

The Sanctions Policy explains the different types of sanctions, applicable sanctions regimes, the obligations on Qube personnel, and how to comply with, and report breaches of, those obligations.

Respecting Human Rights.

We value the inherent dignity of each person, the right to life and liberty, and freedom from slavery and discrimination and take our commitment to human rights seriously. We expect our team members to do the same. Our ethical conduct compliance framework commits us to respecting human rights everywhere we do business.

Our Human Rights and Modern Slavery Framework and Action Plan (Framework and Action Plan), is informed by the objectives and principles underpinning the Australian Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Act) and we always look for opportunities to improve and refine.

Each year Qube submits a Modern Slavery Statement in accordance with the requirements of the Act. Our Statement summarises developments in our Framework and Action Plan and outlines the actions we have taken with our business partners, contractors and suppliers to identify, assess and mitigate the risks of modern slavery in our supply chains and associated with our operations.

Speaking Up.

In order to support our ethical conduct compliance framework and ensure the integrity of our operations, we have in place a Whistleblower Policy for our Australian and overseas operations and a separate policy for our New Zealand business.

Our Whistleblower Policies promote and support a culture of honest and ethical behaviour, good corporate governance and compliance with Qube’s legal and regulatory obligations. This is facilitated by providing protections for the reporting of reasonably held concerns regarding suspected or actual reportable matters.

Reportable matters are concerns about conduct that may amount to a serious or systemic breach of our ethical conduct compliance framework including conduct that may be illegal or otherwise concerns misconduct or an improper state of affairs or circumstances at Qube.

Qube encourages individuals to speak up and report any such concerns. The Whistleblower Policies set out the different ways team members and other individuals can speak up if they see something that isn’t right in Qube’s business dealings or workplaces. This includes the ability to make anonymous complaints by various means. Our Code of Conduct & Ethics also outlines ways to raise concerns of a less serious nature.
