What do you do in your role at Qube?

I’m a Tautliner driver, operating a B-Double from our Melbourne distribution centres, delivering to our local partners. This means that I deliver all palletised materials to their final destinations. We are very fortunate to have some of the newest trucks on the road. I have been working at Qube for over five years and really enjoy my job.

What do you like about working at Qube?

They are a great company to work for, and it’s a secure job. We operate with the most up to date and modern equipment, primarily due to the fact Qube takes safety very seriously. I have a great team to work with on a daily basis and the managers are really supportive as well.

What does a nomal day look like for you?

I start at 5am and when I arrive at the warehouse there is normally a load ready to go on my truck. We often do up to two or three full truck loads of deliveries in a day, before finishing about 10 to 11 hours after starting. Being a B-Double there is typically quite a lot of stock on board and we ensure the deliveries arrive at the customer in a timely manner.
