Supporting IDAHOBIT DayPeople
As champions of Inclusion, Qube stands against homophobia, biphobia, interphobia and transphobia.
On 17 May 2023, we joined with 130 other countries across the world, to recognise International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia and Transphobia.
Our teams from across the country came together to talk about the importance of inclusion and inclusive language and employees were invited to add their preferred pronouns to their email signatures. Gender pronouns are the terms people choose to refer to themselves that reflect their gender identity. These might be he/him, she/her or genderneutral pronouns such as they/them.
Knowing and using a person’s correct pronouns fosters inclusion (one of our key values), makes people feel respected and valued, affirms their gender identity, and reduces stigma.
